Did you know weight of badminton racket?

IS 79-gram light racket in badminton?

The weight of the racket is usually denoted by U and the Smaller the number of units, the heavier the weight of the badminton racket. The 5U stands for 75-99.9 grams. But I would recommend that 4U is still very fast than 5U.

79 grams racket come under 5U (unit). These racquets are ideal for many amateurs and Advanced Players. The 79-gram racket is also coming under a lightweight racket and offers a faster swing speed. The weight of the racket is usually denoted by U and the Smaller the number of units, the heavier the weight of the badminton racket. The 5U stands for 75-99.9 grams.

But I would recommend that  4U is still very fast than 5U. If you compare between 4U and 5U, I would recommend you 4U. If you a beginner or intermediate player then you should have lower tension in your badminton racket. The beginner should have tension around 18-20lbs or 21-23 lbs. Lower tension provides badminton rackets more power in their shots. If you are Pro Player then  You should have high tension in your badminton racket. You can have tension around 25 lbs or more. Higher tension will transfer less power and more control to shots.
